The position
In this role, you will be providing consultative and advisory service relating to the delivery of an integrated WHS Management System in accordance with the Department’s WHS Action Plan and associated Acts and Legislation.
As a WHS Consultant, you will be coordinating the management of hazards and incidents including investigations, inspections, audits, risk assessments to identify and develop control strategies for hazards and risks. You will provide advice and support on WHS matters to staff, managers and Health and Safety Representatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for the Health and Safety Committee and providing training and education to staff on specific WHS issues and their legislative rights and obligations.
This position is located in East Perth (however, you may be required to work at other sites as required)

What are we looking for?
To apply for this position, a WHS Diploma or an equivalent relevant qualification will be required.
To be considered further, please submit a detailed CV (up to 3 pages) outlining your current and previous achievements of the following;
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of WHS consultancy and programs, in a large multidisciplinary organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in providing WHS advice and delivering WHS training and safety communications.
- Current knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act (2020) and its application in the work environment, WHS systems and the implementation of contemporary risk management practices.
