About the role

As Executive Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for providing executive support to the Executive Director Building and Energy and the General Manager Regulatory Services.

This role involves the coordination and completion of correspondence including Executive Director and Ministerial, Parliamentary questions and briefing notes to ensure that quality and timeliness standards are met. You will provide administrative support by arranging meetings with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating appointments, preparing agendas, disseminating information and maintaining confidential corporate records.

Drawing on your extensive experience in administrative support, you will play a vital role in meeting stakeholder expectations, managing progress, providing pro-active and courteous service, meeting objectives and ensuring work is finalised to executive level. Your ability to identify and find solutions to administrative problems and effective communication with individuals at all levels will be key to your success in this role.

This position is located in Cannington, offering an excellent opportunity to escape the city and enjoy the benefits of this location. Situated near a shopping centre with various food and entertainment options, you can enjoy the convenience and amenities available nearby.

Commuting to the office is made easy with excellent accessibility via public transport. However, please note that the Armadale/Thornlie line will be closed for 18 months from late 2023 and replacement bus services are planned.

The office itself is light and open plan, with breakout areas, spacious meeting rooms and multiple kitchen areas.
