Lead Labour Relations Adviser
Permanent Appointments
We are looking for exceptional people to join our team to help drive the State Government’s workforce agenda and shape a contemporary government sector workforce
We currently have two permanent vacancies available in the Government Sector Labour Relations (GSLR) team, which is responsible for coordinating industrial and workforce issues across the WA public sector.
While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancies, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) for the next twelve months following finalisation of the process.
What will you be doing?
You will represent the Minister for Industrial Relations and the Executive Director Government Sector Labour Relations in developing, implementing and monitoring labour relations strategies, policies and workplace practices, with particular emphasis on framework and reform, bargaining and employer support.
You will work with public sector employers, unions and other stakeholders to drive whole-of-government workforce reforms, negotiate awards and agreements, and resolve disputes. To learn more about us and our work, please visit our website.
