The role
As Senior Financial Analyst – Modelling, you will assume a pivotal role in developing and maintaining complex financial models and service costing analyses to assist business areas in their annual review of tariffs, fees, and charges, cost recovery and reporting. You will also be tasked with delivering client-focused financial modelling services aligned with our department’s objectives.
We are seeking a proactive finance specialist who is cognisant in financial modelling, cost benefit analysis and scenario modelling methodologies including advanced Excel modelling skills.
Your success in this role hinges on your ability to manage key relationships and business risks in the provision of tailored advice on complex financial matters.
Your adept communication skills, both interpersonal and written, including effectively engaging and conveying information to diverse audiences will be indispensable and play a key part in your effectiveness in this position.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months, from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.
