We have an exciting opportunity for a Kronos & Systems Administrator to join our Business Services team supporting the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP).

In this varied and important role, you'll be the go-to person for workforce systems administration, helping ensure employees are paid accurately, workforce data is maintained effectively, and critical business processes run seamlessly. Working across payroll, reporting, employee records and system administration, you'll collaborate with a range of stakeholders to support both operational delivery and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the effective administration of Kronos and related workforce systems to ensure accurate timekeeping, payroll inputs and reporting outcomes.
  • Maintain employee records and workforce documentation while supporting payroll, leave management and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Provide system administration support across platforms including Concur and other business systems.
  • Deliver reliable reporting and workforce insights that support operational and financial decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data integrity and enhance administrative efficiency.

What You Bring

  • Qualification in Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in payroll, workforce administration, HR systems or business support environments.
  • Exposure to Kronos, JDE, Oracle or similar enterprise systems will be highly regarded.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with the ability to work confidently with data and reports.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail and stakeholder communication skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
