We have an opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join our Health & Education team at Orange & Bloomfield. Reporting to the Hard FM Operations Manager, you’ll help coordinate the delivery of safe, reliable and high-quality maintenance outcomes that support essential health services. This is an on-site role requiring strong organisation, stakeholder communication and the ability to manage competing operational priorities.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Coordinate reactive maintenance requests, planned maintenance and defect rectification, supporting the achievement of contractual KPIs and minimising abatements.
- Support the delivery of minor works, facility assessments, equipment replacement activities and maintenance planning across both campuses.
- Coordinate subcontractors and maintain accurate safety, permit, SWMS, compliance and service delivery records.
- Monitor work orders and maintenance activities through the computerised maintenance management system, ensuring records and outstanding actions remain current.
- Communicate regularly with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders, providing clear job updates and escalating service issues or potential delays.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous facilities coordination or facilities management experience, ideally within a complex operational environment.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and maintain accurate documentation.
- Experience using a computerised maintenance management system and confidence with Microsoft software and related applications.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements, risk management and contractor compliance, with a commitment to a strong safety culture.
- A relevant trade background is desirable, along with a valid unrestricted driver’s licence and strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
