THE OPPORTUNITY
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Trade Assistants to join our maintenance team at Eraring Power Station. Working alongside our experienced tradespeople, you will provide hands-on support across maintenance activities, assisting with tools, equipment, materials and general site duties to help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
ABOUT YOU
Heavy Industry Experience: Previous experience as a Trade Assistant or labourer within power generation, industrial, construction, maintenance or shutdown environments will be highly regarded.
Hands-On: Confident using hand and power tools and assisting qualified tradespeople with maintenance activities.
Safety Focused: Strong commitment to safe work practices and following site procedures.
Team Oriented: Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Site Qualifications: Hold a White Card, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (within 3 years validity). Highly desirable, but not mandatory.
