We currently have an opportunity for a Program Delivery Manager. Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in leading the safe, timely and effective delivery of lifecycle, modification and minor works across the contract. Reporting to the Facilities Director, you’ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Lead, support and coordinate Project Managers across the contract project portfolio, setting clear priorities, expectations and accountabilities.
- Maintain an integrated portfolio plan covering milestones, dependencies, resources and the forward pipeline of lifecycle, modification and minor works.
- Establish consistent project governance, controls, reporting and assurance, with clear oversight of budgets, forecasts, risks, issues and changes.
- Ensure projects are appropriately scoped, approved, resourced and delivered safely, on time, within scope, to the required quality and within approved budgets.
- Build trusted stakeholder relationships, coordinate operational readiness and change, and ensure completed works are formally handed over with lessons learned captured.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive project management experience across facilities modifications, lifecycle works, minor works, construction or a comparable complex operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading Project Managers or multidisciplinary delivery teams and managing a portfolio of concurrent projects.
- Advanced capability in portfolio planning, prioritisation, integrated scheduling, resource coordination, governance, risk, change control and performance reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with experience managing contractors, consultants and delivery partners.
- A relevant tertiary or formal project management qualification, supported by substantial industry experience. Engineering, construction or facilities management qualifications will be highly regarded.
More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
