Position summary:
This role provides broad project support to the Team Downer IWP Leads for both the NA3PO IWP and the Land C4s/Joint C4s IWP. The position is accountable, under limited direction from those two IWP Leads, to provide a broad range of support services to a large number of Team Downer resources working with each of NA3PO’s and Land C4s/Joint C4s's Systems Program Offices (SPOs); including but not limited to:
- assist with management of input, accuracy, and currency of opportunity register entries.
- onboarding/offboarding activities for resources.
- managing resource utilisation.
- managing issues and incidents as required.
- holding regular face to face 'check-in' meetings with individuals and projects (including writing/maintaining meeting minutes and action items).
- collation and submission of regular customer reporting.
- records management.
- reinforcing WHS and security provisions.
The role focuses heavily on ensuring smooth engagement with Member Companies and SMEs when searching for resources, and smooth delivery of IWP services to Defence through keeping the Team Downer resources on the ground happy, informed, engaged and consulted.
Experience/Skills Sought:
As the successful candidate you will possess experience in the following:
- An ability to engage productively with diverse groups of people: experience in Human Resources management or a Recruitment organisation is well regarded.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining record keeping and/or organisational databases.
- A growth mindset and a willingness to learn.
- A minimum baseline clearance (NV1 preferred).
- A demonstrated ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks and prioritise ‘on the fly.’
Desirable Qualification/Skills/Experience:
- Experience (2+ years) in a co-ordination / project management / project support / customer or client engagement role.
- Experience in working collaboratively, operating as an effective team member, and providing constructive feedback.
- Experience in engagement of relevant stakeholders and understand their expectations and concerns. Assess and adjust project management and human resource management methodologies to comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Defence / CASG experience is desirable but not essential.
