In the role of Customer Information and Security Officer you will be the eyes and ears of Operations across the network and be tasked with ensuring that passenger safety and security is always maintained to the highest standards, and be able to respond to requests quickly and appropriately through sharp thinking, with precise decision making and effective management. Based in the control centre at Dry Creek you will have complete control and visibility of the CCTV network and have access to physical staff from security to operational management through a series of platforms to ensure Adelaide Metro Rail is a safe and preferred mode of transport for our patrons.
About you
- Previous experience in a Security type role, with hands on experience and strong understanding of control centre-based security
- Security/technology/OHS based qualifications or related field desirable
- SA Security Licence is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with no apprehension to make announcements across the network as needed
- Strong reporting experience with ability to follow up and investigate incident reports from managers, providing detailed accounts of events
- Understanding of the “big picture” of the network being able to suggest and implement continuous improvement ideas to make the network user friendly, safe and secure.
- In this role you will be required to work shift work in accordance with a seven (7) day roster including morning, night, weekend and public holiday shifts
