Due to significant population growth the West Camden Wastewater Recycling Plant will be amplified to meet customer needs and stakeholder requirements. To undertake the amplification, Downer and BMD have been engaged in a Joint Venture to undertake the amplification works on behalf of Sydney Water.
As a result, Downer team are seeking to appoint a Senior Document Controller to lead the document control function for this project. The Project Team will be primarily accommodated at the West Camden Water Recycling Plant located at Grasmere NSW. Note - this is a site-based role.
Reporting to the Lead Document Controller, the Senior Document Controller will be responsible for determining the control functions relating to internal documents; and administering those functions including the management, registration and transmittal of all documents in and out of pre contract bid/tenders and projects in support of procurement, contract management, engineering and any other areas of project delivery.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience gained within Construction conducting document control on major construction projects
- Relevant qualification/s or experience in the use of the SharePoint, Aconex, InEight (Teambinder) document control system/s
- Seek and enact continuous improvement in methods, practices and quality
- Awareness of Workplace Health & Safety, Environment, Equal Employment Opportunity legislation and Quality Standards
- High level of time management skills including the capability to work with conflicting priorities ensuring attention to detail
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
