Downer is seeking multiple Overhead Lineworkers to join our Power & Energy project team in Moomba, South Australia . The newly awarded project due to commence in April 2022 consists of overhead powerline construction and installation to interconnect facilities and assets in the Moomba area. In this role you will work as a part of the site team to execute programmed construction and maintenance work to ensure safe, reliable, and affordable operation of the network.
ABOUT YOU
- CERT III qualified Distribution Linesman with proven experience in construction and maintenance of transmission and/or distribution electricity network according to design specifications and construction standards
- Hold a current SA Electrical Licence, LVR CPR, Working at Heights and Construction Induction/White Card
- Experience in steel pole construction and Tecmec stringing equipment
- Commitment to safe work practices and safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

- Full-time project term contract, approximate duration 12 months
- SA site based role on a 18 days on, 10 days off roster
- Camp accommodation provided with FIFO from Adelaide
