BUMA Australia was established in 2021 to acquire the Open Cut Mining business of Downer. This acquisition included the transition of all people, mining services contracts, assets, systems and intellectual property from a business which has successfully provided mining and civil services in diverse locations and across many commodities for over 75 years. Currently BUMA Australia successfully manages operations across four sites and we have plans to continue to expand and grow.

We are currently seeking applications from experienced 600-800 Tonne Operators and Step up Supervisors interested in joining our team at Goonyella Mine.
We have several full time opportunities available which include an even time roster, camp accommodation and company provided bus transport!
ABOUT YOU
To be eligible for this opportunity you will:
- Have 600-800T Operating experience
- Display an enthusiastic work ethic and be self-motivated.
- Want to work as part of a team and help each other to succeed
- Must have a current/Valid driver's license
- Be fit for work
Preference will be given to those who have:
- Liebherr R9800 & Cat 6060 Operating experience (or equivalent)
- Current Standard 11 would be advantageous
In addition to the above you will be a great team player with a strong commitment to safe working practices.
IN RETURN WE OFFER
- 7/7 Roster, working hours are 12hr 20mins for the first 6 shifts and 10hrs on the 7th shift to assist employees in traveling home within fatigue hours.
