Downer is seeking a Storeperson to join our Power & Energy project team in Moomba, South Australia . The newly awarded project due to commence in May 2022 consists of overhead powerline construction and installation to interconnect facilities and assets in the Moomba area. In this role you will assist with all stores and material controller duties including, but not limited to loading trucks, receipt tooling and materials, labelling stock, picking materials, operate a MC truck and create registers using excel to track vehicles/plant.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in a warehousing or stores role, including entering data and documents into a warehouse management system and telehandler/forklift & truck operations
- Good computer skills including MS Office programs, with ability to accurately complete data entry
- Hold a current MC Drivers Licence, White card and a Forklift ticket
- Commitment to safe work practices and safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently, as well as a part of a team
WHAT WE OFFER
- Full-time project term contract for an approximate duration of 10 months, with potential for subsequent project works
- SA site based role on a 18 days on, 10 days off roster, 11hr days
- Camp accommodation and meals provided with flights from Adelaide
