Downer's Sealing department is highly respected and has a great track record for delivering a high standard of work across New Zealand and our Waikato crew is no exception! We’re after a Chip Runner to join our team to conduct site works and activities in accordance with project plans. Key responsibilities include:
- General laboring activities
- Acting as a spotter for our Chip spreading truck
- Adjusting the application and manually spreading chip seal
- Following health and safety standards and procedures
About you:
You will have proven experience and exposure to construction with a genuine interest in the civil infrastructure industry. You will also have:
- The ability to work hands-on as a team player
- Good timekeeping skills – punctuality and reliability is key!
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Confidence communicating and working around the public
- A high level of physical fitness
- A Full Class 2 Licence & WTR Endorsements - Preferred but not essential
