Our Transport Recruitment function is a large team of 20 professionals, that have the support and tools to deliver in this very tough candidate market, not to mention the opportunities for development and growth – this is evident as the role is available due to internal progression!

About the role:
You will be joining a high-performing, collaborative group dedicated to delivering end-to-end expert recruitment services. You’ll build trust through consistent exceptional service and support Transport leaders using your industry knowledge and best practice recruitment solutions to deliver great talent.

This is a varied and exciting role where you will work across both Regional and Major Project portfolio’s, where you’ll arrange talent attraction strategies that meets their needs; take job briefs, produce advertisements, shortlist, candidate management, arrange interviews, negotiation, and offers, through to onboarding.

You will also add value to the wider business through identifying efficiencies and building our reputation in the market by attending careers fairs and looking after campaigns both locally and offshore.

About you:
We’re after someone with fast-paced, high-volume recruitment experience, a passion for people, and the drive to deliver successful outcomes in a timely, consistent manner. We’d truly value:

  • Experience creating, implementing, executing and tracking talent attraction, pipe-lines, and proactive sourcing activities
  • An understanding of recruitment and industry challenges, with the energy and ideas to overcome them
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, search tools, and/or systems (we use PageUp, Teams, MyMobility, LinkedIn Recruiter, and of course, trusty spreadsheets)
  • Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain sustainable, meaningful relationships at all levels
  • The confidence, resilience, and curiosity to understand the complex environment we recruit for and to challenge the status quo!
  • Superb attention to detail, prioritisation, and organisation skills
  • The ability to coach our Coordinators and collaborate with fellow Recruiters
