An exciting new position has become available for a proactive and motivated Traffic Manager to support the maintenance and upgrade works on Melbourne’s iconic CityLink, West Gate Freeway/Bridge, M80 interchange, and the new West Gate Tunnel. This full-time role based out of Southbank will oversee all traffic management matters on the contract, including but not limited to the draft and review of the Traffic Management Plan and Traffic Guidance Scheme, engaging with traffic management contractors and suppliers and ensuring all site works are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
ABOUT YOU
- Qualifications in Traffic Management Design
- Experience in development of Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes.
- Knowledge of relevant Department of Transport and Austroads Guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple key stakeholders
- A successful track record of Zero Harm leadership as well as the ability to support operations to continually improve safety performance
