About the Role
The Purchase to Pay Team consists of the Accounts Payable function for Downer Group. The team manages Invoice Processing and Resolution related activities for Downer Group using JD Edwards ERP system. This is a fast paced and high-volume transactional environment.
As the Invoice Processing and Resolution Officer you will be responsible for:
- Investigating and resolving invoice processing issues and exceptions to facilitate the timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Building and maintaining relationships with all BSC customers to facilitate the efficient resolution of invoice processing exceptions.
- Accounts Payable related resolution activities raised through Downer’s ServiceNow portal.
- Participating in continuous improvement projects and performing any other tasks assigned by the Processing & Resolutions Lead.
Our Requirements For This Role Are
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance or Accounts Payable.
- Sound knowledge of Accounts Payable and Purchase to Pay processes.
- Knowledge and experience working with ERP’s and ICM Tools - JDE and Kofax is preferable.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and MS Office.
- Ability to resolve problems and manage customer expectations.
- Experience working in a corporate environment with excellent customer service skills.
