Committed to developing and supporting talented, young women in STEM subjects, Downer is partnering with Toorak College to provide an opportunity for a graduating student to join our Downer Road Services Cadet Program, one of Australia's leading infrastructure businesses.
Our Cadet Program is an excellent start to your professional development. We will encourage you to acquire new skills and will be right beside you as you develop industry knowledge, putting into action all the interesting things you will learn into your studies!
Our Program objectives reflect:

About You:
- Planning to enrol in university studies (for 2024) focusing on STEM related qualifications.
- Enthusiastic to learn, curiosity and keen to experience exposure to site based operations – allowing you to learn the full STEM life cycle
- Enjoy a challenge and love to think outside the square
Mandatory Requirement:
- Attendance at the Victorian Cadet Induction scheduled for Monday, 27th and Tuesday the 28th of November 2023.
- Available to work full-time in Melbourne for January 2024 and February 2024 prior to commencement of university. Subsequent years will require the cadet to be available to work the summer (late November – February).
