Network Inspector
The Network Inspector is responsible to the Asset Manager for an effective network inspection regime, identifying and monitoring the condition of the network assets (both virtually/via desktop and on site) and supporting the asset management team.
You will provide project support to all contract operations in your network, assisting in preparing maintenance programmes and claims and providing support to the Contract Team and Network Custodian.
On a day-to-day basis you will be:
- Auditing completed work with a focus on quality
- Assisting in the development of maintenance programmes
- Providing support to field staff on field programming tools such as Pocket RAMM
- Interpreting work assignment instructions, applying appropriate procedures and selecting equipment
- Inspecting roading assets & civil engineering works (both virtually /via desktop and on site), and organising maintenance repair work
- Collecting and analysing data, and assist Contract team with the pricing and preparation on fixed price quotation and variations
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- At least 3 years’ experience in the development of maintenance programmes through field inspections
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, or equivalent would be beneficial but skilled work experience may substitute for formal qualifications
- Class 1 full license required
- Ability to utilize both tablets and computers with RAMM Software or other job management software
- Ability to utilize a GoPro camera (or similar) to capture road/network footage
- Strong planning skills and attention to detail
