The Transport Analyst is an important position within the outcome-focused Keolis Downer Northern Beaches (KDNB) Customer Experience and Planning team.
Your role has 2 main responsibilities: you will play a key role in analysing, refining, identifying gaps, explaining, shaping solutions and assisting in driving the business’ performance in relation to the key milestones of the contract. The position works closely with all parts of the business to collect and analyse datasets that will then support the decision-making of managers across the business.
Your role is also focused on supporting all the projects aimed at refining the GSBC8 public transport network, by undertaking data analytics and providing strategic insights. This can include also carrying out market surveys. you will work with the Planning team to develop more effective and attractive transport solutions for passengers.
ABOUT YOU:
- Diploma level in data analysis, Urban planning, Transport or engineering; and / or
- At least 2 years in data analysis and network planning, ideally in public transport business.
- Strong analytical and logic skills;
- Geographic Information System skills;
- Writing skills; and
- Database management.
