We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical or Electrical Permit Officer to join our team on 2/2 roster on Wheatstone, WA on Full-time Permanent basis. In this key role you will be responsible for the administration of all permits and isolations, ensuring compliance with the Permit to Work system, and providing the highest level of expertise in the direction and support of HSE procedures and policies.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience working in a Maintenance environment
- Raise, review and issue Work Permits in accordance with policies and procedures
- Experience developing work packs, permits and isolations
- Ability to read and understand Isometrics and P&IDs
- Strong computer skills, including the use of permit management systems
- Working knowledge of Permit of Work system (ie E-Permitting) advantageous
- Proven work history in either an electrical or mechanical trade
- Knowledge in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
- Ability to be flexible in the work place and willing to contribute out in the field as and when required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- CPR / LVR & First Aid – Electrical Trades Only
