Our Facilities and Asset Services team has an opportunity for an Asset and Life Cycle Manager to join the team located at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. The A&LC Manager is responsible for the strategic asset and maintenance solutions including the development & validation of asset registers, preventative maintenance plans, lifecycle technical models and providing ISO55000 aligned asset management to ensure that plans assets are “Fit for Purpose” throughout the life of the contract.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure contractual obligations are met (or exceeded) to enable the safe and secure environment for all and the protection of the health precinct property assets.
- Management of the Technical Model to drive the strategies for the contract term and for ensuring seamless integration into the contract management plans
- Developing and implementing the Whole of Life AM/O&M frameworks, strategies, plans, procedures, and processes
- Developing asset remaining life modelling and decay forecasts
- Planning and delivery of minor work and modifications to the facility and asset base
- Lead a team of professionals to ensure all facets of the function are met or exceeded
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in Project Management, Asset Management, Building Services, Facilities Management or similar, preferably in a complex facility or hospitality environment
- Accomplished in the application of ISO55000 principles for lifecycle planning bringing strong data analytical PC skills including asset condition modelling
- Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers
- Strong understanding in mechanical and electrical systems. HVAC, HV, Utilities (water treatment, storage reuse)
- Extensive knowledge of statutory obligations, codes of practice and Building Code of Australia regulations
- Exceptional knowledge of WHS implementation procedures and a proficient background working knowledge of project Zero Harm requirements
- Strong relationship building skills across all teams, contractors, clients and senior management
