YOUR ROLE:
The Systems Administrator role supports the Group Finance teams, Divisional Finance teams, Business Services Centre and Lead Operational Finance Managers. The role provides a central administration for change requests to Finance master data, security and configuration to ensure consistent application.
The role is a 9 month contract- after this time you will have opportunities to apply in the same or different teams in Downer (transfer). If you have experience with experienced using JDEGS / Quintec (or similar payroll systems), training can be provided on other aspects of the role. Your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and resolution of issues with applications support team:
- E.g. Integrating hours, design configuration, incorrect user code
- Payroll: Signing off timesheets, understanding EBA’s, inputting payroll data to system
- Building positive relationships and behaviours to deliver best practice and adoption of new systems
- Providing support and assistance to Finance team members on the use of the financial systems
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in JDEGS / Quintec (ESSENTIAL); we can train the rest!
- Experience working in a similar role (with payroll) highly desirable
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to effectively work with and build relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word)
- Working toward Tertiary Accounting Qualifications or similar (advantageous, however not essential)
