Our teams are professional, focused on delivery of best practice on Parks Maintenance/Horticulture services to our clients and the members of the public.
A bit about the role:
The Operations Manager will provide operational leadership to Bay of Plenty Greenspaces team delivering on contract requirements, optimising resource use and achieving target results.
You will be responsible for the management of operational resource (people, plant, materials and subcontractors) to optimise performance across quality and safety targets, and contribute to positive financial performance and customer experience.
You will also work collaboratively across all sectors, (and other areas as required) with both the local managers and national managers, responding to the client’s requests in a collaborative manner to ensure a One Downer approach.

- Horticultural Qualification is an advantage.
- Proven successful management experience with responsibility and accountability for staff, plant and return on investment.
- Experience in identifying, researching and developing marketplace opportunities
- Developing a culture that supports zero harm management, encouraging and rewarding excellence.
- Class 1 Drivers License
