THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to be engaged on a full-time permanent basis, working on a high-profile rail construction project – The South Geelong to Waurn Ponds Duplication.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be based on-site in South Geelong, or CBD office with Working from Home flexibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the establishment, implementation and administration of the project document control system and procedures to ensure documents can be easily identified, recovered and audited.
  • Ensure document control and quality in compliance with the project Document Management Plan.
  • Ensure project team is informed and actively using the most current version of each document.
  • Develop and implement procedures and activities for the collecting, safeguarding, retaining, and controlling documents, drawings, records, and data required in the execution of the project business.
  • Provide training in company documentation procedures to other staff members.
  • Maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Information Systems or a relevant technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role preferably within a multi-site construction, transport, construction or engineering industries.
  • Competent in implementing and managing document control systems TeamBinder or Aconex.
  • Proven ability working to tight time frames in a changing environment and ability to work under pressure and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Good oral and written presentation ability linked with sound relationship and integrity record.
  • Developed analytical and influencing skills.
  • Works effectively in teams to identify and improve processes.
