This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career as a Transmission Line Mechanic by learning the skills that will enable the provision of quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations. Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- Level 1 (School Certificate) passes in English and Maths
- Current class 1 driver’s licence (minimum restricted) (car) with clean record
- Competent verbal and written communication skills
- Physical stamina to carry out manual work, often in trying conditions
- An electrical background or interest i.e. completion of a pre-trades course would be an advantage
