We are seeking a qualified and experienced Utility Arborist to provide Arborist/Vegetation services to to provide Arborist/Vegetation services for Transmission Lines to ensure the lines and network are reliable. This work is both part of a programme and fault and emergency situations as required.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

  • Relevant qualification (Arborist Level 4 or 5, Arboriculture or assessed equivalent)
  • Experienced in vegetation and arborist work (3-5 years +)
  • A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements, including overhead distribution systems and of the Electricity (Hazards from Trees) Regulations.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Current driver’s licence
  • EWP Operation and Climbing experience
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical stamina to carry out arduous manual work, often in trying conditions
  • Understanding of Land Owner Liaison
