We are currently recruiting for Transmission Foundation Workers To provide quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

Essential

  • Relevant Registration and current practising licence
  • NZQA Level 4
  • Current Class 1 driver’s licence (car)
  • Sound knowledge of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and Safe practices for High Voltage Electrical Work
  • Commitment to work within the company and clients’ Zero Harm systems
  • Ability to relate to external parties (clients and public)
  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and written (Tailgates, Crew Briefing Plan’s etc)
  • Ability to work effectively under general supervision and unsupervised
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail

Desirable

  • Live Line qualification
  • Heavy Trade licence
  • Extensive Industry related experience
