Our teams are professional, focused on delivery of best practice on Parks Maintenance/Horticulture services to our clients and the members of the public.

We have a great opportunity in our Blenheim Greenspace team for a Gardener/Mower Operator to join us on a full-time basis. We need someone who has a genuine interest in a career in gardening and the maintenance of open spaces. In this role, you will:

• Plan, manager and undertake mowing of turf on designated parks and reserves.
• Be involved in general gardening, re-vegetation of sites, pruning, weed control, mower operation and water blasting.
• Ensure that a high quality, timely and planned service is delivered at all times as well as ensuring a high level of safety to protect the public, other team members and yourselves.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

• Reel mower / Upfront / Ride-on Mowing or Parks maintenance experience
• Familiar with electronic data entry or computer experience an advantage
• Great honest work ethic, with reliability and a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
• Minimum Full Class 1 Drivers Licence
• Keen to work as part of a great team
