Due to growth within Downer we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced JDEdwards Functional Lead to join our team, working on challenging projects including the consolidation of all Downer businesses across Australia and New Zealand onto JDEdwards.
Downer’s use of JDEdwards 9.2 is customised across a broad range of modules, including Finance, Procurement, Subcontractor Management, Project Capital Works, Service Asset Management, Inventory, Manufacturing and Transportation.
THE ROLE
This role will support the Global Process Owners, Global Process Leads and key Stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes in Downer’s ERP. The JDE Functional Lead will be responsible for pro-active system enhancements, BAU change requests and assigned projects.
Tasks will include stakeholder engagement, completion and oversight of requirements gathering, business process reviews, solution designs, functional/technical specifications, system development co-ordination, testing, data migration and support functions.
In addition, to Downer’s primary ERP - JDEdwards 9.2, the role will also support JDE integrations and legacy instances of JDE 9.0 and JDE9.1 until consolidation is complete.
ABOUT YOU
- Strong knowledge in JDEdwards in multiple modules and a willingness to up skill across new modules.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels of the Downer Group.
- Proven experience in system design, configurations, and testing.
- Extensive experience in leading development and change in a large corporate environment.
- Proven experience in managing competing priorities and stakeholders.
- Experience in development of business processes to support operational requirements from a system perspective.
- Experience in working in project environments, with tight deadlines.
- Experience in working with IT technical teams in offshore and onshore model.
- Strong resource management and scheduling ability.
- Ability to identify and manage risks, with ability to understand impacts and provide mitigation strategies.
