WHAT WE OFFER
- Casual roles for the upcoming Tarong Power Station outage
- Start date late September 2023 , approximate duration until early/mid November
- Monday to Saturday roster, 11 hr day shift available
- EBA rates $49.92 p/h, site allowance $3.42 p/h, penalties on overtime work + 25% casual loading on all hours
- FIFO or DIDO roles, with LAFHA or accommodation provided to distant workers
Our Industrial & Energy business has opportunities for casual Turbine Fitters for the upcoming outage at Tarong Power Station near Nanango, QLD . You will provide your expertise in maintaining rotating equipment within a shutdown environment ensuring work is completed safely, effectively and to the required standard.
ABOUT YOU
- Trade certified Fitter with proven experience in inspections and overhauls of Steam and Gas Turbines within a power station or heavy industry environment including inspection and replacement of new and refurbished parts
- Desirable experience in turbomachinery maintenance and alignment
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery following inspection and test plans, recording relevant data and raising issues to field engineer
- Knowledge in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
- Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety
- Hold an Industry White Card and Working at Heights & Confined Space tickets (2-year validity)
