We have an exciting position for a Systems Control Engineer to support our Chevron Team at Barrow Island on a 2/2 roster.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Undertaking detailed control system design and commissioning works for assigned projects, with regards to water, resources, power generation, renewables, transport & utilities equipment.
- Ensuring a professional standard of communication is upheld with both internal and external stakeholders (client, suppliers, sub-contractors).
- To ensure project compliance to industry and company QA systems and regulations within the Control Systems and LV design space.
ABOUT YOU
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering ideally but will consider degree qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mechatronics.
- Extensive experience in design, fault finding, testing, programming, and commissioning of Industrial Control & Automation, System Design (calculations, construction design, schematics).
- Proven experience and knowledge of the following systems is advantageous:
- PLC
- Electrical
- HMI
- Instrumentation
- Software
- SCADA
- With a focus on but no limited to Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Danfoss, Vacon, Yokogawa, Rosemount, Citect, Windows etc.
- Demonstrated capability in analysing and subsequent implementation of control system design based off process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, network diagrams, PLC schematics and technical specifications.
