We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Roads team in Tasmania. The position is ideally suited to a candidate with experience in Asphalt, Surfacing & Paving who is looking for the next step in their career. The role will incorporate various aspects of road construction and maintenance and provide an opportunity to develop a wide ranging skill set. Experienced Project Engineers are encouraged to apply.
This role will be based in Austins Ferry, with relocation assistance available for interstate candidates.
ABOUT YOU
- You will have qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and have exposure in civil road construction or road maintenance
- A successful track record of proactively building relationships with key clients, stakeholders and developing new business opportunities
- Strong negotiation & problem-solving skills
- Demonstratable experience leading teams
- A well-developed understanding of planning, execution and financial reporting of projects
- The ability to manage projects from start to finish
- Commitment to quality outcomes with a focus on delivering in full and on time
- Strong safety focus - actively participate in and support Downer Zero Harm initiatives and strategies
