POSITION SUMMARY

Downer have multiple permanent opportunities available for an experienced Mechanical Fitter with a strong background in a Maintenance environment to work on an LNG site in the Pilbara on a 2 week on/ 2 week off roster.

This is NON-Process Infrastructure / CAMP MAINTENANCE

ABOUT YOU

You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work safely and understand best practice in a maintenance environment. You will also have strong experience and knowledge in the safe use of hand/power tools and equipment required to perform tasks.

The primary role of the Mechanical Fitter is to service and maintain all pumps, valves, conveyors across all NPI within the scope of this contract. Piping and Flange Management Experience required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Servicing and maintaining equipment including but not limited to RO and Wastewater Treatment plants, concrete batch plant, camp maintenance.

• Repair and fault find hydraulic equipment.

• Clean and lubricate parts.

• Regular inspections of tools and equipment, ensuring good working order

• Flange management, torque, and tension experience

• Maintaining of parts and equipment and ensuring stock levels are maintained.

• Trade Cert – Mechanical Fitting

• Working at Heights (WAH)

• Elevated Work Platform (EWP)

• Confined Space Entry (CSE)

• Gas Test Atmospheres (GTA)

• Class C Driver’s License

• Basic Rigging (Desirable)

• Flange Management

• MSIC (Desirable)

• White Card

• Right To Work in Australia (Passport / and or Birth Cert)
