The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a National Communications and Marketing Manager to bring creativity and lead our internal and external marketing and communications. With an innovative mind, come and join our newly established business! You will focus on strategy, branding and market penetration to help take our business to the next level.

About the role:

  • Set the strategic direction for communications and marketing across the delivery of Projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensure efficient frameworks and foster a genuine two-way information flow between the client and the project team.
  • Work proactively with the client on issues, collaborate on solutions and continuous improvement, provide regular reporting, and meet information sharing requirements.
  • Management of communications, engagement programs, social media, media, and marketing strategies, including process and collateral that focuses on the long-term benefits and genuine support for the project.
  • Lead a program of communication and marketing activities.
  • Update and implement communication and marketing strategies, management plans, forward outlook matrix, key messages, protocols, and approvals processes.
  • Work with the project management team to identify and assist in the management of risks, opportunities and project related issues and develop strategies to address these.
  • Work closely with the technical streams to ensure known stakeholder requirements are proactively considered when developing program sequencing, design and construction methodology and operations and maintenance interfaces.
  • Oversee budget and management of suppliers, and business activation activities.
  • Lead communications and marketing with key stakeholders. Provide strategic advice to the leadership team.

  • Degree (bachelor) in marketing and/or communications.
  • Previously held marketing manager role in another construction or engineering organisation.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in marketing and communications.
  • Excellent skills in branding and corporate communications.
  • Able to develop corporate marketing strategies.
  • Very good understanding of digital marketing and modern best practice.
  • Sound project management capability to ensure effective delivery of marketing outcomes.
