Zero Harm Advisor - Wheatstone & Barrow Island - 2/2 Roster

Our Industrial and Energy West Business are looking for experienced HSE Advisors to join our Wheatstone & Barrow Island Project Teams on a 2/2 roster.

Reporting directly to the Superintendent you will be responsible for the planning and overseeing of personnel to ensure that site work activities are completed in accordance with safety, quality, and time objectives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist the project team to ensure all activities include Zero Harm (ZH) requirements throughout planning, delivery and implementation;
• Ensure all project activities, process and systems comply with the Downer Legislation Register and ZH compliance Matrix;
• Providing HSE guidance and advice to project site staff; and
• Assisting with incident investigation.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this position you must have previous industry experience working in a similar role on a large project in the maintenance and/or resource industry.

You will also possess:

• Cert IV in HSE as a minimum;
• 5+ years experience in a project or maintenance based HSE advisor level role
• Recent hands on advisor experience on a large projects or resource industry;
• An understanding and a working knowledge of HSE practices, standards and codes; and
• Workforce Safety culture mentoring and coaching
• Previous experience on ICAM investigations
• Previous experience on back to work rehabilitation
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
