Maintenance Supervisor

ABOUT US

Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCIS) is a Joint Venture between Downer and Ventia that has recently been awarded an exciting 10-year contract to deliver water and wastewater repairs and maintenance services, and renewals project works for the City of Gold Coast.

THE ROLE

The Maintenance Supervisor provides coordination and leadership of day-to-day site activities across the Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance scope. Our supervisors play an important role in coaching and building the capability of the team to ensure all works meet quality standards and are completed within cost & time parameters.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage site-based teams including Electrical and Mechanical direct reports and subcontractors.
• Monitor site activities, ensuring compliance to statutory requirements, organisational policies, procedures and standards, utilising SAP and CMMS maintenance systems for reporting.
• Develop maintenance programs and schedules, plan and execute Mechanical and Electrical projects accordingly.
• Engage with stakeholders across the joint venture, to provide status updates.
• Ensure the safety of crews, public, facilities, activities and work closely with Zero Harm to develop effective plans, procedures and controls to mitigate risk and hazards.

ABOUT YOU

• Supervisory experience within Mechanical or Electrical role in a construction or maintenance environment (Water industry experience highly advantageous).
• Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification.
• Experience coordinating works in a high-volume environment.
• Qualifications in Leadership & Management (desirable but not essential).
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
