THE ROLE
Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking for Expression of Interests from reliable and self-motivated Trade Assistants to join our QLD team on a full-time basis.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Clearing vegetation from around the base of poles.
- Report all potential and existing environmental hazards.
- Conducting minor defect repairs to ground supports, stays etc.
- Assisting in all aspects of the asset inspection process as directed by the Asset Inspector.
- Manual excavation around the base of power poles so that below ground inspections can be conducted.
ABOUT YOU
- Current QLD Manual Drivers Licence.
- Construction White Card.
- Willing and able to travel to multiple site locations.
- Ability to work under direction as well as autonomously with your own initiative, be self-motivated and outcome focuses.
- Ability to work in an outside environment and to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Well-developed communication skills and able to liaise with co-workers and supervisors.
- Adaptable, focused and efficient and report issues when necessary, in a timely manner.
