Excellent long-term career opportunities are now available for Field Crew Member to join our Gas Networks & Services team. You will predominately be working within the surrounding areas of Ballarat where the role is responsible for the maintenance activities of gas mains and services within the Ausnet contract.
Due to the environment of this role, we are seeking individuals that have a strong focus on safety and are committed to Downers Zero Harm processes and procedures to ensure all our employees get home to their families safely at the end of each day.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience within the gas or utilities sector (advantageous).
- Operational hands-on experience in excavation, landscaping, or working outdoors.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills under the supervision of a Team Lead and/or Supervisor.
- Current Construction Induction card.
- Current HR, MR or HC licence (advantageous).
- A strong 'team player' with the proven ability to work efficiently with others.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to problem-solve and identify solutions.
