We are looking to appoint a Road Network Asset Inspector for our Road Maintenance division across the Citylink network. This role will play a crucial part in assisting in aspects of the asset inspection process as directed by the Asset Inspector and execute all works with asset inspection programs within timeframe and in a safe manner as engaged.
Duties for this role will include (but are not limited to);
- Deliver timely reporting as required on the progress of quality standards and work practices as required to both management and its customers (includes taking photos of defects and structure and system updates)
- Developing and maintaining good client relations
- High attention to detail and have the ability to work to deadlines with minimal supervision
- Ability to work productively, adapt to changing environments &/ working conditions and ability to meet the physical demands of the role
- Proficient in the use of digital equipment and software. ( digital camera, phone, tablet)
- Being able to work with key internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the business
Role Requirements;
- Previous experience in civil road maintenance will be highly regarded
- White Card
- Basic computer skills
- An MR licence preferred
- Strong safety focus - actively participate in and support Downer Zero Harm initiatives and strategies
