Business Support Officer
The opportunity
Our UAM team are now seeking their next Business Support Officer to join the QLD based team. Located at one of our Brisbane office locations, you will be responsible for daily administrative tasks supporting the daily operations of our Pole Reinforcement (PLR) team.
Please note there will be an initial requirement to work full-time in the office however post probation this will be reviewed with a potential for WFH/hybrid working arrangements.
What you’ll do
- Provide general administrative support with finance, payroll and customer service-related tasks.
- Produce prompt & accurate client invoices, credit notes & supplier purchase orders.
- Establish & maintain timesheet entry, verification & reporting.
- Develop, update & maintain company database, work spreadsheet & others as required.
- Liaise with critical internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, Downer employees, and the general public.

What we’re looking for
You will be a highly motivated individual that has the ability to multitask and manage a demanding workload. Above all, you will have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn new or unfamiliar tasks.
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Experience using software applications and MS Suite (specifically Excel, Outlook and Word) is required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues.
