Technical Report Writer - QTMP
Join Our Team as a Technical Report Writer!

We’re looking for a skilled Technical Report Writer to help us create content that communicates effectively with both internal stakeholders and external clients. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Project Controls Director, project managers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure that our reports, presentations, and project documentation are exceptional in quality, consistent and has impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality written content, including project monthly reports, executive summaries, and management plans.
- Translate complex technical, financial, and operational data into clear, concise, and engaging narratives.
- Utilise and be a self confessed expert with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
- Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and project managers to gather accurate information and ensure consistency in reporting.
- Ensure all reports and documents meet exceptional quality standards.
- Write, edit, and proofread documents to maintain clarity, coherence, and a professional tone.
- Deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in copywriting, technical writing, or report writing, preferably in large-scale projects or corporate environments.
- Experience in the Construction and Rail industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools or design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Power BI) is an advantage.
