We currently have an opportunity for a People and Culture Delivery partner. Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. Reporting to the HR Manager, this position contributes to business-aligned people initiatives, supports a culture of safety and compliance, and equips leaders with the tools and training needed to strengthen employee engagement, development, and well-being.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Lead and implement key People & Culture programs and projects across the employee lifecycle.
- Partner with HRBPs and leaders to support organisational design and workforce planning initiatives.
- Coordinate and execute core HR cycles including performance, remuneration, and talent reviews.
- Provide coaching and advice to leaders on employee relations, compliance, and workplace matters.
- Drive change management and communication strategies for HR initiatives and cultural shifts
What You’ll Bring
- Experience delivering HR programs, projects, and cyclical processes across diverse teams.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and enterprise agreements.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Exposure to organisational structure changes and supporting leaders through transformation.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field (desirable).
