We currently have an opportunity for an Operational Technology Business Analyst. Join our technology hub team and play a key role in leading structured requirements gathering, scoping and analysis required to support Operational Technology (OT) upgrades across multiple Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contracts. Reporting to Program Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Conduct structured OT discovery across PPP sites, including documentation review, stakeholder interviews, field equipment verification and system baseline capture
- Capture contractual terms relevant to OT systems and document them for SME assessment.
- Document technical architecture, network topology, integrations, field device inventories and operational constraints.
- Map AS-IS operational processes and support the definition of TO-BE processes where upgrades introduce change
- Gather and document business, functional and technical requirements to support OT upgrade scoping.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent extensive experience) in information technology, computer science, business or related discipline.
- Extensive applied experience in business analysis, process design and requirements gathering. Preferably within OT, IT, engineering, critical infrastructure or PPP environments.
- Hands-on experience capturing technical and operational requirements for OT systems such as BMS, Access Control, CCTV, AV, SCADA etc
- Exposure to contractual or regulated environments, ideally PPPs, with understanding of contractual constraints and stakeholder interfaces.
- Strong understanding of OT systems, architectures, field devices, integrations, network considerations and upgrade pathways.
