We are seeking a motivated LFG Technician to join our WA Landfill Gas team. Reporting to the WA Landfill Gas Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising landfill gas extraction systems, helping ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations across our landfill gas sites.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and taking ownership of their work while contributing to a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on landfill gas extraction equipment and associated infrastructure.
- Undertake gas field monitoring, tuning and balancing activities to improve gas extraction performance.
- Analyse operational data using gas management systems and assist with reporting activities.
- Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Support continuous improvement of gas field monitoring systems and operational performance.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and environmental compliance.

Desirable
- Mechanical or Plumbing trade qualifications.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience in landfill gas operations, gas field construction, monitoring, tuning and fault finding.
- Experience in civil works, drainage works or electrofusion welding.
