We are looking for qualified electricians to join our Remote Energy team as Power Technicians on a family-friendly 2 week on / 2 week off roster in the WA Goldfields. If you are a team player, have a can-do attitude and the desire to be trained as a Power Technician we will give you the training, support and mentoring you need.
You will be trained to take on these key responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspection and maintenance of fixed plant, engines, gas fields and associated equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Operate advanced instrumentation and process control systems
- Undertake electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs and reporting
- Monitor the process to ensure optimum output
- Operate gas fuelled power plant and all associated power generation equipment
Qualifications and experience:
- Electrical license (essential)
- Experience in maintaining, fault finding and operating electrical equipment
- First Aid certificate desirable
- Current drivers licence is essential
