Business Analyst - Oracle Field Service

We are hiring for a 24-month, fixed term contract.

The Business Analyst drives the design, development and deployment of their module of responsibility by collaborating with EDL’s project team, Oracle Consulting and business stakeholders. They will be a leading contributor individually and as a team member, becoming the subject matter expert for Field Service.

Oracle Cloud’s Field Service module gives operators and technicians the ability to access critical job details and capture required information in the field, even offline. This role will require travel of 25% to 50% which will be in Australia, North America and the UK. When not travelling, the role does have the flexibility to work from home 2 days/week.

Key Areas of Responsibility include:

  • Collaborate with external consultants, internal stakeholders, and the project team, to develop and implement the Oracle Cloud Field Service module globally.
  • Gathering requirements of end-to-end business process and the finer nuances within each business location.
  • Development of material and resources to be deployed in the Field Service module.
  • Develop capability to be the go-to subject matter expert for the Field Service module
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing.
  • Assist with training for EDL users as required.
  • Work with Head of ERP Transformation to provide input to the project plan and work breakdown structure; assist in managing timelines and milestones to ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders (including Oracle Consulting) to resolve issues.

  • Experience working with stakeholders to develop system and process requirements.

  • Ability to travel is essential – this role requires regular travel approximately 25% to 50% of the time.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant specialty (Engineering, IT) preferred.
  • Previous experienced with Oracle Cloud CX module Field Service highly desirable but experience with other functional Oracle Cloud modules such as Supply chain and maintenance will be considered.
  • Experience within the utilities or resources sectors will be advantageous.
  • Experience in software implementation projects preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and web-conferencing tools.
  • Ability to adapt to a new project quickly with a can-do, jump-right-in attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform/drive resolution of problems.
