The Maintenance Planner WCMG QLD will be responsible for the planning and scheduling function to deliver corrective and planned maintenance within Queensland Waste Coal Mine Gas (QWCMG) power stations.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Design, implement and manage monthly, weekly and daily maintenance plans which enables deliverables for maintenance activities and Operations to fully control progress, completion dates.
- Manage parts and labour resourcing to meet planning requirements - including external service providers and contractors.
- Utilise the Maintenance Management System to complete maintenance planning activities, raise work orders and maintain accurate master data of equipment.
- Liaise with Supply and Procurement to ensure adequate and timely supply of materials and equipment.
- Assist in financial and budget preparation and forecasting activities of maintenance strategies.
- Review and implement maintenance specifications for new assets as part of the operational readiness process and existing assets as part of the Preventive Maintenance Optimisation (PMO) process.
- Develop and implement maintenance planning for scheduled shut down periods as required. Efficiently develop and manage maintenance plans and activities to adhere to allocated maintenance windows and meet deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience
- 8 years' experience in planning and scheduling within an asset management environment.
- Experience with power generation and associated plant and equipment is desirable.
- CMMS (Oracle, SAP, Maximo etc.) experience is essential.
- Computer literacy using Microsoft suite of packages including planning software such as MS projects is required.
- Driver's licence required.
