Our Exciting Opportunity
Ericsson Australia is growing! As a result, we are now looking for a Lead Senior Solution Architect, who will be responsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for the customers. In this role, you will also be accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals.
In this role, you would:
- Report to Project Manager and/or Program Manager
- Work as a Technical Lead Senior Solution Architect and lead a technical RAN team who is responsible for solution onboarding of 5G RAN features & hardware testing and network software upgrades
- Scope, define and design solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions for 4G/5G
- Point of contact for complex technical issue, queries or customer partner concerns
- Lead technical discussion with customer to achieve operational acceptance on 5G solutions
- Work closely with Solution Team and Key Account Managers
- Analyze customer technology, define business requirements and participate in risk analysis
- Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer presentations
- Support and lead deployment of solution
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing
- Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to enable customer competence build
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Minimum years of experience: 15 years+ in Telecommunications
- Excellent knowledge of 5G, LTE landscape, strategies and technology roadmaps
- Experience and solid understanding in 5G radio products, layering strategies, architecture for NSA and SA solutions, mmWave, and Cloud RAN
- Strong pre-sales experience and involvement on initial project costing
- Demonstrable experience in driving 5G feature, SW and HW introductions to customer
- Experience in leading team and driving e2e feature testing, proof of concepts (POC) and 4G/5G Trials in lab environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network performance to achieve KPIs
- Familiar with DT tools such as Accuver X-CAL, X-CAP, TEMs
- Strong 3GPP knowledge and ITU standards
- Experience and understanding in multi-vendor network interworking
- Strong leadership skills and able to motivate team
- Demonstrate working under pressure in fast paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrable experience with internal/external stakeholder management
- Deep Ericsson products & solutions knowledge
- Programming/Scripting skills VBA, Python etc for automation (highly regarded)
